Crossladen. Fidlock Racing Team

The Crossladen. Fidlock Team was founded in 2017. It started as a pure street-league team and since 2018, specialises in cross, MTB, and road races.

One of the main sponsors is the crossladen., a nationally known specialist bike dealer for competitive bicycles in the southern Hessian Mühltal near Darmstadt. Originally based in Cochem/Mosel, crossladen. specialised in the configuration and sale of cyclocross bikes, be it for leisure or competition. The owners of crossladen. are also active in cyclocross and cycling.
Since January 2019, FIDLOCK accompanies the team’s development as the second main sponsor.

Successes so far and future goals?

The biggest success so far are certainly the German Championship title of Nina Küderle in the U23 class and the overall victory of the German Cup (Cyclocross Bundesliga) women elite, as well as the third place in the DM 2019 by Stefanie Paul.

Louis Leider won third place in the German Road Championship in 2019 and Tobias Kurz took third place at the MTB DM in Wombach at the Masters 1.

In addition, the team has so far recorded a total of over 55 wins and over 80 top 15 rankings in the last 3 years.

The biggest aim concerning races is to win the German Champion jersey in the women’s elite class and to retrieve the U23 jersey in Albstadt 2020.

In addition, the team wants to convey the fun of cycling, no matter what discipline and show that a team, which contains no professional riders, but only working people with dedication, will, passion, and fun can be at the forefront in Germany.

Highlights so far?

Highlights so far have been Stefanie’s fight in the German championship in Kleinmachnow 2019 against multiple German champion Elisabeth Brandau and multiple world champion Hanka Kupfernagel.

In addition, it is great to ride in the big Belgian and international races with up to 40,000 spectators and to experience the exuberant mood of the fans. Such goosebumps moments are not experienced everyday.
The team presentation in Bensheim 2018 and at Cyclingworld 2019 were also absolute highlights. Getting to know so many different people is just breathtaking and fun.

What motivates the team?

Passion, will, ambition and fun in cycling are paramount. The will to succeed and the communication with other people around the world about cycling are pushing the team day by day to give everything and get on the bike in all weathers. No matter if sunshine, snow, storm or rain – we ride bikes and enjoy them.
